Mirana has a well established presence in the DotA competitive scene, often times a ban or a pick. Dominantly used a Ganker/Roamer (which this guide will cover), Mirana is a capable Carry given the right conditions. Just do not expect to go into every game thinking you can Carry a team with a Hero like Mirana. Mirana is one of the few Heroes that have recieved little to no balancing acts by IceFrog. Why? Most likely because she is already balanced. Her unique skillset can be deadly when used properly and they can provide you plenty of gold via Starfall. A complete package is what Mirana is, and I hope you guys enjoy this guide. This guide correlates to the current DotA scene (6.6x). Before you read this guide, I will not hold your hand. You should know certain aspects of DotA already, and I will not tell you things that you can find for yourself. This guide focuses on Mirana, not how to play DotA.

Well, I noticed there was no guide for this great hero. I always end up swapping with people that random him, because I do like him and I think I have a fair understanding of how to use him. Hey, I’m Airbox and this is my first DotA Strat guide. I’m only doing it because the 3 Morphlinhg guides which are available are 3 years old and outdated. Plus Morphling seems to be a big pick these days and finally i’m on work placement for the next 2 weeks with nothing to do so hopefully this shall occupy me.

Want a hero that is assigned almost all roles? Want a hero that has the potential to destroy the whole enemy team in less than 4 hits? What about a hero that is capable to lane solo against almost any hero in the game? Not to mention he is one of the best farmers in DotA, (even at early game), which allows you to farm your full build in 40-50 minutes in game. There’s only one hero for you. Magnus, The Magnataur. The solo hero.. from laning to battles.. Magnus can solo anything in his way. My second guide for DS.com will focus on Magnus’s capabilities of solo mid, which is essential to boost your mid-late game (where Magnus shines out of the rest).

Phantom Lancer is a great hero, especially for pubs, since you don’t need a team to excel late game. There are many ways to play this hero, and this is one of the ways I use him.
